My work has been described as deeply human, immersing audiences in stories that enable them to fall in love with even the most complex and challenging characters.
I am currently working on a memoir expanded from my academic research project in linguistics around my family’s language and identity loss during wartime in Serbia. I bounce between my work as a writer, a consultant and a contributor on linguistic projects around issues of translanguaging & multilingualism, borderland identity and perspectives from the Global East.
